Terms and Conditions
1. TERMS OF SERVICE AGREEMENT
By visiting Killer Queen, making a booking, or purchasing a service or product from our site, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service.
These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation, users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.
2. PRICES
All service prices listed on the Killer Queen website are subject to change without notice. Services will be charged in accordance with our current rates at the time of booking.
If you have already paid a booking fee, then you retain the rates invoiced at the time of booking for the respective booking.
3. BOOKINGS
Bookings are subject to availability; please get in touch via online booking form, email or phone to request a booking for your chosen date.
I cannot guarantee availability outside our normal hours of operation, or for bookings requested at short notice (less than a week’s notice). If you request a last-minute booking within 24 -48 hours of your desired date, I am under no obligation to respond to you to confirm or deny availability due to the nature of being a solo business operator without the capacity to respond to emails at all hours.
To secure your booking, a booking fee of 50% is required, which is deducted from the total cost of the booking and is not refundable. Your booking will only be locked in once your booking fee has been paid. This can be done via direct deposit, PayID, or Paypal. I do not hold any hair or makeup appointments without a booking fee to secure the date and time.
The remainder of the service must be paid one week in advance of the service date, or you risk the appointment being cancelled or unattended.
4. GENERAL APPOINTMENT RESCHEDULE & CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations or postponements are to be made at least 48 hours before your appointment.
If you cancel or postpone within this period, your booking fee will be transferrable to another appointment time. We will happily move your appointment to a new date within 12 months of the original booking.
If you do not show up, or do not cancel within this timeframe, your booking fee and any balance payments will be forfeited.
5. WEDDING BOOKINGS
To secure your booking, a non-refundable booking fee of 35% is required on acceptance of your wedding day quotation.
The booking fee amount is based on the size/requirements of the booking and the total cost of the quotation at the time of quoting.
Your wedding day booking will only be locked in once your booking fee has been paid. This can be done via direct deposit, PayID, or Paypal. I do not hold any wedding bookings without a booking fee to secure the date and time.
The balance of your wedding day services must be paid in full 30 days ahead of your wedding date or you risk the appointment being cancelled or unattended.
Once your quote has been accepted and the booking fee paid, your date will be locked in and all further enquiries/jobs for that date will be turned away.
Please confirm your numbers carefully at the time of your booking, as we don’t offer any reductions for hair and makeup services. Should someone in your wedding/group booking cancel or not be able to attend, they are welcome to be replaced with someone else for the same service, e.g. a guest or relative.
If the booking is downsized without a replacement, the original price quoted will still be payable to cover the loss of other work on the same date.
We do not accept last-minute changes to services or major changes to the schedule within 30 days of your wedding day.
6. WEDDING RESCHEDULE & CANCELLATION POLICY
Should your wedding need to be rescheduled or postponed beyond 6 months into the future, please note your original quote may be subject to change due to annual pricing revisions. Your booking fee will be transferred to your new date, provided we have been consulted on a new date (please see below). We do not offer refunds on your booking fee.
Should your wedding be rescheduled or postponed beyond 12 months into the future, please note a new Booking Fee will apply, equal to 30% of your total invoice, as well as any increases in my service prices.
Should your wedding day be rescheduled or postponed without consultation on my availability, and I am already booked out on your new date, your booking fee and any paid fees will be forfeited. Please ensure before rescheduling or rebooking you consult with me to avoid this.
If you decide to cancel your wedding day services, please inform me in writing at least 4 weeks prior to your wedding day. Your booking fee will be forfeited to cover my admin fees, time spent on planning, holding your date and turning away other weddings/ work on that date.
If I receive less than 4 weeks notice of your cancellation, the booking fee and any balance paid will be forfeited to cover my expenses and loss of work.
7. SERVICE & STUDIO HOURS
Our usual service hours are Wed-Sat by appointment 9:00am – 6:00pm and very limited Sundays.
Any service bookings that require us to start outside of these hours may be subject to an early start fee of $150 for starts prior to 730am. Special considerations may be made for commercial or very large bookings and are decided at the discretion of Killer Queen on a case-by-case basis.
8. ONLINE STORE
All products have been described with the best endeavours to provide accurate information including details, descriptions and images.
All prices are exclusive of any delivery costs.
9. PAYMENT METHODS
All payments are independently processed through third-party services. Therefore, Killer Queen does not collect any payment information – such as credit card details – but only receives a notification once the payment has been successfully completed. If payment through the available methods fail, or is refused by the payment service provider, Killer Queen shall be under no obligation to fulfil the order. Any possible costs or fees resulting from the failed or refused payment shall be borne by the user.
10. CURRENCY
All payments are processed in Australian Dollars (AUD). Any possible costs or fees resulting from conversion of currency at time of payment shall be borne by the user. Killer Queen is not obliged to offer multi-currency services or to offer alternate payment methods.
11. DELIVERY
Delivery for physical products is only available within Australia and NZ as at July 2024.
Received orders will be packed and sent within 48 hours of order receipt, with the exception of weekends and public holidays. Any orders received within these timeframes will be processed the ensuing Tuesday. Killer Queen bears no responsibility for delay of delivery once processed and submitted to Australia Post.
12. ACCEPTANCE OF GOODS
Upon receipt, goods must be inspected and Killer Queen notified via our contact form, email, or phone number of any issues within 48 hours. If no contact has been made within this period, it will be deemed that the goods have been accepted as per condition of sale.
13. RETURNS & EXCHANGES
Killer Queen do not offer returns or exchanges on any items due to change-of-mind.
If products are deemed to be faulty, damaged or defective, you are permitted to submit a request for return. Upon inspection, if agreed, we will replace for a non-defective item or full refund of product price.
14. GENERAL CONDITIONS
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
15. ACCURACY
This site may contain certain historical information. We reserve the right to modify the contents of this site at any time, but we have no obligation to update any information on our site. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor changes or updates to our site. Prices for our services and products are subject to change without notice.
16. USER COMMENTS, FEEDBACK AND OTHER SUBMISSIONS
If you send certain specific submissions such as enquiries, reviews, feedback, creative ideas, suggestions, proposals, plans, or other materials, whether online, by email, by postal mail, or otherwise, you agree that we may at any time, without restriction, edit, copy, publish, distribute, translate and otherwise use in any medium any comments that you forward to us. We are and shall be under no obligation to maintain any comments in confidence; to pay compensation for any comments; or to respond to any comments.
17. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that State or location.
18. CHANGES TO TERMS OF SERVICE
Killer Queen reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes.
Your continued use of / access to our website, or the Terms of Service, following the posting of any changes to these Terms of Service, constitutes acceptance of those changes.
